Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida
Sitting on some 335 acres of land this zoological themed theme park hosts over 1,200 animal species. It is the place that you can take your kids to see elephants, zebras, lion’s et al without forking out top dollar by going to Africa. There is an adjoining water park to the zoo and its purpose is to quench the desire of those who are seeking water filled fun. Passes to the zoo are $ 88 for adults and $ 77 for children aged between three and nine.
US Coast Guard Cutter Ingham Maritime Museum
This is a military museum and the reason why it is the place to be for kids is that in this ship you basically have a self-guided tour. The ship has been left in its original condition since it was de commissioned in the year 1988. There are a number of visual and audio aides to help you through this guided tour and for an hour or two that you spend here it will definitely be energy well spent for the kids with you;
Dolphin Plus–Easy Largo
This is the place you go to when you want to swim with the dolphins- quiet literally. You only get to swim with the dolphins if you are aged nine and above and for the other kids that are below this age they can simply sample the delights that the aquarium.
