Lodgify is taking its service to another level with the introduction of its latest online service. The online service aims at providing small commercial houses with necessary facilities to establish their business information and reach out to millions of customers. However, this time the main target is the people who are renting out their houses to holiday makers.

Naveen Sharma the co-founder of the Lodgify comments that the online site will be like a shopping for the people who wants to rent their house for a brief period. He further adds in that for some unknown reason the hotel owners do not show interest in listing their hotel and services on the Booking.com and discard their own website. However Lodgify is not without competition in the field. In the year2013 march it was separated from Y Combinator that was able to raise $1.4 million in seed finance. It was all for the initiative of MyVR. The co founder Naveen Sharma opines that Lodgify has some extra facilities compared to the MyVR. The former provides better user interface, a proper integration with holidaymakers listing sites like, 9flats and Roomarama. In addition to that Lodgify has, unlike other online services instant booking facilities powered by Stripe and PayPal.

Naveen Sharma’s Lodgify allows the vacation rentals to juxtapose website building with listing on many rental services at the same time. Hence it saves time and money, with the minimum charge as low as $9 on a monthly basis. The clients are not asked to pay any extra charge for making additional bookings and setups. Another point of difference is that Lodgify mainly does business in United kingdom and other European Countries.

The vacation rental website can raise their income by having their customized websites and by enlisting themselves on other websites like, Airing, Homeaway, 9flats and Roomorama and others. However, this arrangement is not very beneficial to them as they are expensive and time consuming and the clients have to manage all the listings manually.

According to recent market research the business of vacation rentals has high potential and is showing gradual growth. Strangely it is said to be growing faster than the hotel industry, and has a huge probability to soar highest in the hospitality industry within the next five years. Naveen is hopeful about the diverse quality of Lodgify. He optimistically says that it has the multi faceted attributes to face the challenge of the changing demands of the clients and time. All that they need to do is to upgrade their existing system and closely monitor the fundamentals of the evolving market. Tracking down the requirements and demands of the changing taste of the customers is one of the secrets of success in the business. Sharma therefore wants to focus more on the mobile strategy.

It is perhaps here lays the difference between Lodgify and MyVR. While the latter is unable to provide aid to many players the former has avenues and facilities to ensure expansion and growth in the years ahead.
